Safeguarding

Brentwood provides a safe learning environment where all our adult learners feel safe, secure and valued. Our child and adult safeguarding policies are written with the underlying principles outlined in:

  • Keeping Children Safe in Education Part 1 2024
  • Working Together to Safeguard Children 2023
  • The Care Act 2014
  • The Mental Capacity Act

At Brentwood we promote a culture of keeping our students safe and our staff are trained to implement policies, practices and procedures which promote safeguarding and the emotional and physical well-being of all our students.
