I come to college to learn new things

One thing I learn about is “careers”. 

Careers means what I might like to do in the future.
 

I have things I am good at. 

Learning about careers helps me use these things.

I can talk to the Careers Team. They help me understand my choices.
 

There are different pathways for my future. 

I can explore activities, volunteering or jobs.
 

I can look at information about jobs. 

This helps me learn what different jobs are like.

I might visit workplaces. 

I can see what work looks like in real life.
 

I might meet employers or visitors. 

They can tell me about their jobs.

There are careers events during the year. 

I can join in and learn new things.

I might try work experience. 

This helps me practise skills and find out what I enjoy.

If I have questions, I can ask. 

It is okay to ask for help.

Learning about careers helps me feel confident about my future.

I am learning, growing, and getting ready for my next steps.
